Abeka Video School Program​

Our school offers grades K4-12 through the Abeka Video School Program. Though we may be small in number, this program allows us to provide traditional classroom instruction to each child. Our educational materials are not just biblically faithful—they are also academically sound. Abeka materials use hands-on-learning, creative problem solving, and other research-proven instructional strategies to motivate students to take an active role in learning and to master age-appropriate material.  The program has worked successfully (as test scores will confirm) for many other Christian schools, and we are confident it will provide good results for our students.

Due to the manner of Abeka's advanced curriculum pace and high academic standards, all parents of 1st-12th grade applicants will be required to review Abeka's Scope and Sequence prior to enrolling.

It should be noted that LHCS’s academic program tends to be a challenge with varying degrees of difficulty for new students due to the advanced Abeka curriculum pace. Should a student show academic difficulties in his/her previous program, the likelihood of compounding that difficulty would increase if he/she were placed in the next successive grade at LHCS.

In the event of retention while at LHCS, the school and it's staff will not be held accountable for a student being enrolled in the next successive grade when the student's academic level does not fall in line with Abeka's academic standards of placement.
